The design is inspired by the timeless annoyance of mansplainers; its thickness and gooey expression represent the misplaced confidence and ego of people who mansplain. Its rounded corners and unevenness of the characters portray the unpredictability of mansplaining- it’s often coming from a person chiming in to bulldoze a conversation about things they may not understand or have experience in. The green color expresses the envy and insecurities mansplainers have.
